An excellent opportunity is available with a leading banking institution based in Birmingham City Centre for a Risk Management Specialist within Anti-Fraud Bribery and Corruption risk management and remediation who are responsible for the ongoing development and execution of a comprehensive risk management framework. The business are currently working remotely with a view to a return to office and home working as current restrictions ease.

The team enables AFBC to carry out its Risk Type Controller responsibilities, monitor and proactively respond to fraud, bribery and corruption risks dynamically in line with the Bank's Non-Financial Risk Management Framework, provide governance and oversight over the management of risks across all businesses of the Bank, and deliver upon the Bank's regulatory remediation commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Remediation of regulatory commitments
Proactively supporting the Head of AFBC Risk Management and Remediation as well as the wider AFBC Management Team by leading projects, initiatives and cross-functional programmes to successfully deliver upon regulatory commitments while enhancing the maturity of the AFBC framework
Work closely with Businesses, Subject Matter Experts and Technology to understand risk exposure and develop commensurate solutions to address Fraud, Bribery and Corruption risks in line with and regulatory expectations
Further development and embedding of the AFBC risk management framework in line with the requirements of the Bank
Monitor developments across the framework and broader industry with respect to AFBC risk managementThe Risk Management Specialist will possess demonstrable experience in risk management and regulatory remediation within financial services. You will have a strong understanding of ABFC risks ideally, as well as broader non-financial risk management principles and the three lines of defence model. You will be highly proactive and a motivated self-starter, have able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet competing and changing deadlines. You will have proven ability to build strong engagement with senior stakeholders across the business, including managing complex and diverse stakeholder groups and providing robust challenge where needed. You will be a team player with a proven track record of collaboration, and evidence of developing solid working relationships with business partners to deliver the right results.
