Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Resourcing and Talent Manager to join their HR team. This is a little more than a traditional internal recruiter position, the role will focus on internal talent development and the external resourcing strategy / delivery for the global operation with offices in London, New York, Maryland and Hong Kong.

Based in London, and reporting to the Group Head of HR, the ideal candidate will be responsible for effective implementation of the resourcing agenda underpinned by a culture of inclusion and positive employee experience. The expectation is this role will support in building the reputation of the business as an employer of choice for talented individuals pursuing careers with purpose.

The new Resourcing and Talent manager will demonstrate a unique ability to reach and engage candidates via innovative talent attraction strategies, and partner with hiring managers to determine job requirements, screen candidates, and forecast hiring needs contributing to the organisations continued success. There will also be a big focus on excellent internal candidate experience as the client embarks on a mission to provide opportunities to existing employees to accelerate their careers.

The client offers flecible working with a requirement to be office based a minimum of 2 days per week.

Job Description:

Recruitment (75% of time)

Centralised end-to-end management of the Applicant Tracking System (Workable)

Writing, reviewing, and updating job and person specifications within the library

Managing all internal referrals and applications

Active candidate searches where required using Workable, LinkedIn and any other relevant tools

CV screening and initial filtering of applications

Participating as an interviewer (as relevant and required) to support hiring managers through the full hiring process

Consolidating, advising on, and managing any tasks associated with interview processes such as technical tasks, presentations, skills assessments etc.

Main point of contact for any recruitment agencies or head-hunters and management of the Preferred Supplier List

Timely and considered feedback for all candidates post interview

Management of the careers site

Awareness and commitment to the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion goals in relation to the recruitment process

Development and nurturing of candidate pipeline

Ensuring GDPR compliance (for UK) throughout the recruitment process

Weekly status reports to all hiring managers

Suggest new ideas for improving recruitment activities with an ongoing focus on remaining innovative, designing practices aligned with our culture, and filling positions efficiently with top talent

When applicable, represent internally and externally at events with the goal of building strong networks and relationships with potential candidate communities

Compiling best-in-class interview questions and strategies for own use and as management guidance

Documenting processes in relation to the hiring and talent management process

Talent Management (15% of time)

Work with the Head of HR to perform analysis of organisational learning and development and anticipate future employment needs

Generate monthly updates for Head of HR informing about talent acquisition initiatives as well as reports on key talent acquisition metrics

Liaising frequently with internal departments to determine current and future recruitment needs

Work with Head of HR to create clear internal career pathways for employees ensuring that vacancies are easy to find, apply for and a positive internal candidate experience is established

Contributing to the creation of hiring forecasts as part of the strategic planning

Support the implementation of and provide insight into the succession planning strategy

Undertake and manage salary benchmarking exercises for all locations

Employer Branding and Promotion (10% of time)

Work closely with the wider HR team to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges

Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies

Regularly suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities and employer branding

Frequent benchmarking against benefits within our industry

Essential Experience:

Previous experience devising an employer value proposition and raising the profile of the organisation to become an employer of choice

Experience working as a recruiter or internal recruiter

Desired Experience:

Experience of working in an international field and / or large-scale recruitment operation Good working knowledge of Workable ATS would be a distinct advantage

Experience working with social media to promote vacancies and employer brand would be an advantage
