Holt Executive are working with a global leader within the technology space, recruiting for a Radio Resource Management Engineer.

The position of Radio Resource Management Engineer will join the Network Engineering Team, responsible for defining the architecture, design and development of the Ka and L Band Radio Resource Management systems. The role will involve system specification and then transitioning to support the implementation programme, developing the detailed system design and vendors and managing roll out into operation.

Key Responsibilities for Radio Resource Management Engineer:

System Engineering for a range of radio access system technologies, but primarily focused on Radio Resource Management
Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution
Develop skills to assume technical leadership of some RRM development activities, interface with the contractor, support RRM system specification development and test campaigns, helping to ensure new nodes have been tested sufficiently before being released to site
Develop test tools, simulations as appropriate in support of test campaigns and performance evaluation exercises

Key Experience for Radio Resource Management Engineer:

Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computing Science or related technical discipline
Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, able to balance multiple projects and tasks, complete them successfully, and within timelines
Relevant practical experience in satellite or mobile communication systems, working in either design, or testing and verificationExperience of design/implementation of Radio Resource Management algorithms
