Press Setter – Nights
Our client, based in the Kingswinford area currently have a requirement for a Press Setter, working Nights with Precision engineering press work experience to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Production Supervisor the Press Setters role is to be responsible for ensuring the Press is set up correctly to meet production and customer requirements
Responsibilities of the role are as follows:
To set up the Press in accordance with production requirements
To meet production targets and customer requirements.
To work to the quality standards required.
To work to health and safety standards.
To follow company rules as per handbook.
The successful candidate will:
Proven experience of Multi-Stage coil feed and single stage secondary operation processes
Proven experience working in a press shop
ROSPA certificate is essential
Bruderer experience is preferable
Proven experience with Precision presswork – tight tolerances
Part measurement experience is essential
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to effectively troubleshoot/problem solve
Previous experience with continuous improvement essential
Be positive towards working in other department to support busy periods when required
Must be flexible to work twilight shift when the need arisesHours of work:
Training period will be completed whilst working Days:
Monday to Thursday 07.00am – 17.00pm (includes 30 mins unpaid lunch break and a 12 minute paid break).
Friday 07.00am – 14.00pm (includes 30 mins unpaid lunch break and a 12 minute paid break)After successful completion of training period, this role will be working Nights:
38 hours per week Monday – Thursday 22.00pm – 08.00am Mon-Thursday includes 30 mins unpaid lunch break and a 12 minute paid break.Twilight very occasionally
45 hours per week Monday to Thursday 13.30pm – 23.15pm, (includes 30 mins unpaid lunch break and a 12-minute paid break)
Friday 13.30pm – 22.00pm (includes 30 mins unpaid lunch break and a 12 minute paid break)) What's on offer?
