Electrically qualified to Level 3
At least 5 year’s experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
Ideally have worked in a heavy industrial environment
Must be able to read drawings, use a multi-meter to diagnose faults, have experience wiring 3-phase motors and replacing inverters, contactors, relays, sensors etc. Control panel fault finding down to component level
Some of the machinery is PLC controlled but this gets contracted out
Any Maintenance Engineer from any background willing to apply – metal processing, heavy plant, recycling etc
