Maintenance Administration Coordinator

Our Sutton Coldfield based client has been established for more than 35 years and are recognised market leaders in the design and development, manufacture and distribution of an impressive portfolio of products for supply throughout the world, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth for 2021 and beyond, are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Maintenance Administration Coordinator to complement their professional and successful team.

Working closely with the Operations Manager and Maintenance team, the successful Maintenance Administration Coordinator candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance tasks and the operations administration team by planning, prioritising and organising a diversified workload, and managing live maintenance requests and routine planned maintenance schedules as well as providing administrative and clerical support primarily for the Operations Director and other managers within the operations team.

You will be responsible for recording and prioritising internal and subcontract maintenance requests, and printing and recording scheduled machine maintenance as required, as well as prioritising the maintenance and repairs of equipment, buildings and services, and ordering parts required in line with the requirements and priorities of the Scheduling Manager and Production Manager.

Allied to the maintenance team, you will maintain and deliver a periodic calendar and records of required regulatory compliance to legislation, certification, inspections and testing in line with the Quality and H&S systems, and also be responsible for managing the cleaning team to ensure they have up to date schedules and all required consumables including canteen supplies.

You will oversee the organisation, purchasing and distribution of employees PPE on site and for ensuring that all PPE has been recorded and signed for, and keeping the PPE register up to date, and for organising both internal and external training for operations employees and communicating with all managers as required.

Relating to Operations Administration, you will undertake a range of duties that will include periodic data collation, filing, recording and reporting of production, warehouse, IT and Design data, and will oversee the opening and securing of all buildings and controlling the inventory for all business keys and distribution. You will also organise and coordinate overseas visits and travel as required.

To be considered for this varied and challenging Maintenance Administration Coordinator role it is envisaged that the successful candidate will have attained at least C&G Business Administration or above along with solid core GCSE's in English, Maths and IT, and demonstrate at least 2 years previous experience of working within an engineering or manufacturing administration support capacity, along with excellent communication skills at all levels and solid MS Suite of packages experience.
