We are recruiting for an experienced Interim M&E Manager to join our client, a registered social landlord on a contract basis for a minimum period of 3-6 months.
In the position, you will be the person and budget manager for M&E and will oversee a small team of professional and trades staff, consultants, contractors and other partners within a variety of budgets and processes.
You will have the responsibility for maintenance of systems include gas and electrical heating, water hygiene, heat recovery ventilation, extract fans, fire protection, lighting and emergency lighting, door entry, electrical testing and rewires, and other M&E systems.
You will work with the organisations Maintenance Manager to ensure that a robust performance management system is implemented to ensure compliance is maintained.
The role will require you to produce informative reports as required including statutory and regulatory compliance and performance reports for wider management team.
To apply for this position, it is essential that you have a relevant building, maintenance, compliance or facilities management qualification e.g. HNC in Building or NEBOSH General (or equivalent) or by exception, qualified by experience.
You will have previous Gas safety and landlord responsibilities and up to date knowledge of health and safety in Housing and construction.
You must have the ability to perform risk assessments to understand risk level, significance and scope; and demonstrate experience and skills managing customer and contractor relationships to ensure a high level of customer care and satisfaction.
