This federation of schools is seeking a highly experienced HR professional to support ER cases across four schools in East London.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be the lead on all matters relating to absence management, referrals and inputting processes to support staff returning to work. You will support staff and managers in writing guidance reports and providing resources relating to mental heath, well being and resilience, aiding the wider HR team with ad hoc queries and ensure that best practice is in place on guidance of statutory requirements and legislation.
You will liaise with the appropriate stakeholders to advance case management and work closely with the Head of HR in reviewing policies and providing reports relating to Workforce Census and Absence Management.
This is a highly responsible role and you must have excellent legislative knowledge to enable robust advice is provided to the senior leadership team across the Trust. The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified with previous experience of working within a school setting as you will be expected to make an impact from the start, with established knowledge of the burgundy and green book relating to teacher's pay and pensions.
On a personal note, you will have a good understanding of employment law, including GDPR legislation, and be confident in supporting senior leaders. A good working knowledge of SIMs or iTrent is highly desirable. You will be a natural communicator and can bring solutions effectively.
