An excellent opportunity is available with a leading banking institution based in Birmingham City Centre for a Fraud Risk Management Specialist who will act as a global point of contact within the Fraud Risk Management team. The business are currently working remotely with a view to a return to office and home working as current restrictions ease.

Key Responsibilities:

Interfacing with multiple stakeholders in Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), particularly the Regional Fraud Risk Management and Anti-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption (AFBC) change teams.

Supporting with the implementation and enhancement of Fraud Risk Management (FRM) Framework and ensure, as appropriate, consistency in policies, procedures and controls

Supporting the development, maintenance and implementation of relevant policies

Work closely with AFBC Change and Technology colleagues to drive system related changes and initiatives

Support and lead where required, regulatory certification, internal and external audits, this includes supporting remediation actions

Adherence to all internal and external policies, regulations, directives and the regulations of public authorities

Build strong partnerships outside of AFC is also very key to the overall strategy of AFBC including first line business areas and infrastructure groups across the Bank

Supporting other fraud initiatives within AFBC and assisting in the provision of information to regulators/auditors associated with internal or external fraud relevant to role
The Fraud Risk Management Specialist will possess a fraud investigation background from another bank or similar and possess a strong understanding of fraud scenarios. You will possess a strong risk management background, to include risk assessment, assessing inherent and residual risk and risk and control experience and experience in creating and managing a risk management framework. You will ideally possessing product knowledge from a banking environment. You will possess excellent analytical skills and have ability to map control findings.
