Hours – Full Time –35 hours plus 5 hours paid lunch*

We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our Accounts Receivable team. In this role you will:      

Accurately process Housing Benefit payments and other transactions in connection with Housing Tenants
Assist with the preparation of sales ledger invoices to obtain payment for Nacro’s wide range of services
Provide a high standard of service, resolve queries and give information and training to internal customers
Liaise with a wide range of external customers and Local Authorities
You will have an AAT accounting qualification or be equivalently qualified by experience. You’ll also need solid experience of handling large volumes of transactions within a dispersed organisation. You will be proficient in using Excel to sort/copy/paste and manipulate data, save as csv and upload files. You will have the ability to explain financial processes clearly to non-finance colleagues. Experience of using Housing Finance systems is desirable but not essential.
