AutoCad Technician – Highways & Traffic

Contract Full Time

An opportunity has arisen for a AutoCAD Technician / Engineer with experience in Highways, Traffic and Transportation to join a client in London. Your main duties include designing and delivering a variety of highway and public realm related schemes including bus routes, cycling projects and pedestrian walkways / sustainable transport programmes.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £22 – £26 per hour – negotiable for the right candidate.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
– Using AutoCAD to design a range of highways, traffic and public realm schemes
– Working in conjunction with the lead engineers and project managers to deliver the schemes on time and within budget
– Developing concepts and feasibility studies for traffic and transport improvement related schemes
– Ensuring all designs meet the standards and are compliant with the DMRB and the Manual for Streets and Local Authority Design Guides
